About Me
Welcome to Finding Our Family Rhythm—our unfiltered journey through the highs, lows, and everything in between as a neurodivergent family.
I’m Jessica—a wife and mother to three incredible daughters. I’ve been married for 16 years to a wonderful man who’s right there in the thick of it all with us. We may not always get it right, but we face it together.
Over the years, we’ve experienced personal losses and navigated more struggles than we can count. But our greatest adventure has been parenting our three amazing girls:
- Miss M (born 2011)
- Miss P (born 2013)
- Miss R (born 2017)
Life today looks different from what we once imagined. Two of our daughters have been diagnosed with Autism and ADHD, and parenting neurodivergent children comes with its own unique challenges. Some days, it feels overwhelming—like we’re barely holding it together. Other days, we find joy, resilience, and humour in the little moments that keep us going.
That’s why we started this blog. To be real. To share the raw, unfiltered reality of raising a neurodivergent family. To remind other parents that they are not alone.
Navigating daily life—along with systems like education, Services Australia, therapies, and the NDIS—can be exhausting. But there’s comfort in knowing others are walking a similar path.
And so, Finding Our Family Rhythm was born—a space to share our journey, our struggles, our wins, and all the moments in between. We hope our story helps you feel seen, understood, and maybe even a little less alone.
💛 Welcome to the family.
